Carriage Terms
By engaging JAXPORT DELIVERY SERVICE & STORAGE LLC, you're agreeing to the contractual obligations governed by Florida transport laws. We don't just move freight; we secure it under a strict Bill of Lading protocol.
Our liability is strictly limited as per COGSA standards unless specified otherwise in a separate insurance rider. Haven't you checked your current coverage lately?
All shipments are subject to inspection at our terminal in Jacksonville to ensure compliance with federal safety regulations and proper weight distribution.
Demurrage
Loading windows are finite. We grant a 2-hour free window for FTL pickups. After that? Standard hourly detention rates apply. We've got schedules to keep.
Payment Terms
Net 30. No exceptions for first-time shippers. Credit lines are available for vetted partners after 6 months of consistent volume. Late fees? 1.5% monthly.
Claims Doctrine
"Damage is a disruption of the mission. We aim for zero, but we prepare for the 0.01%."
Reporting Timeline
Visible damage must be noted immediately on the Proof of Delivery. Concealed damage? You've got 7 days to notify our dispatch team. Don't wait until the weekend is over.
Liability Caps
Our standard liability is capped at $0.50 per pound for used machinery or general freight, up to a maximum of $100,000 per trailer. Need more? Ask for a quote on excess cargo insurance.
